Brief

Jaylow is the fastest growing firm of cable distributors in the UK & Ireland. The company was founded over 70 years ago and supplies independent and multinational electrical wholesalers throughout the country. It was our pleasure to support such an established organisation in their growth.

In 2020, the northern office team at Jaylow needed to expand. We have a long-standing relationship with this employer, and following previous successful appointments, we helped them recruit an additional five members of staff.

The need for recruitment came during the national lockdown, which meant their senior management were unable to travel to complete interviews. We helped their local manager during her first ever hiring process by completing the interviews with her, designing screening and interview questions to ensure we could maintain their high standards.

Result

Five appointments were made and Jaylow’s Teesside team has reaped the benefits. The recruitment process was smooth and stress-free for the employer, at a time of great uncertainty for all businesses. We are pleased to have supported Jaylow again and to have helped their business move forward.
