Management Accountant


Type: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per Annum

Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside

This is a highly critical role and you’ll be a key player in driving PSI Global forward as their new Management Accountant.

There are also development opportunities for you to progress to Financial Controller in due course.

PSI Global manufactures filters and air/oil separators, providing solutions for compressed air users and vacuum industries for a wide range of OEM equipment.

They have secured multiple patents for their filter media and received several prestigious awards such as ‘Innovation for Industry’ and ‘Manufacturing Industry Achievement Awards’.

Following a £1.1 million investment, they have built their own clean room resulting in winning an exclusive client, and their order book has seen record numbers with consistent business this year.


About the role

The previous Financial Controller put the current processes in place, so you aren’t needed to come in with lots of new ideas.

However, with plans to open a new company registered in Holland in the next six months, you’ll be required to oversee this and manage the intercompany accounts.

The company is full of different personalities, and you’ll be dealing with people from Directors to shop floor staff.

So, you will communicate financial results and forecasts to the senior managers in a way they will understand and be able to make decisions from.

You will produce accurate financial statements including income and expenditure, balance sheet, variance analysis and commentaries, assist with the preparation of budgets, and maintain daily cashflow forecast.

You will liaise with external auditors, to produce statutory accounts and R&D claims.

And prepare monthly payroll information to forward to the payroll bureau.


About you

You may be qualified, part-qualified CIMA or qualified-by-experience.

If you’re a hard-working, inquisitive person with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail, you’ll fit right in.

Ideally, you will have a background in manufacturing, but your skills and experience will allow you to adapt quickly.
