We recognise that people are a key asset of our business, which is why one of our main objectives is to ensure that we help all staff find the right balance between work and home life. Our employees benefit from working in a friendly, supportive environment where their contribution is valued, and we are proud to maintain an impressive level of staff retention that illustrates this. We are large enough to offer wide-ranging, quality client work, but small enough to work with each individual employee to help them pursue their career goals and aspirations.
We support our staff through a number of qualification routes to gain professional qualifications as Accounting Technicians, Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisors. We are also pleased to support more specialised training where appropriate, for example in the Charities Sector.
We currently need an additional Client Portfolio Manager to join our team. Working with a range of SME's Limited Companies, Charities and family-owned Businesses, this role will entail looking after your client's accounting and audit requirements and tax affairs (both private client and corporate).
For a role where no two days are the same, it's difficult to prepare a definitive job specification, especially as we try and tailor a role to a team members abilities and interests and support them to develop their knowledge across areas like Charities and Trusts.
It is likely however that you will be involved in:
- Statutory Accounts preparation and review
- Review of Management Accounts and payroll
- Assisting on Audits
- Ad hoc accounting projects
- All aspects of tax including corporate, personal and VAT
- Supporting grant and funding requests
- Mentoring junior team members
It is anticipated that this role will suit an individual from an Accountancy Practice background, who already is ACA or ACCA and is seeking to broaden their role and possibly complete further qualifications.
You will be seeking a team and family orientated environment, where your colleagues are as important as your clients, where you can play to your strengths and help develop others.
